Saltwater Games publishes games and operates this website. This policy describes our general practices. The Broadside section below explains the features and services currently used in that game. Other games may have different practices, which we will describe here when they are released.
When you contact us
If you email support@saltwatergames.app, we receive your address, message, and anything you choose to attach. We use this information to answer and resolve your request and keep it as long as reasonably needed for support and appropriate records. Please do not send passwords or payment card details.
Broadside: game progress and iCloud
Broadside stores levels, coins, upgrades, items, appearance choices, purchase entitlements, and other progress on your device. When iCloud is available, it also synchronizes game progress through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. Sound, haptics, and analytics preferences remain on your device. You can reset progress in the game; iCloud data is managed through your Apple account and device settings.
Broadside: analytics and crash reports
When the in-game Analytics setting is on, Google Firebase Analytics processes app usage and gameplay events, such as launches, battles, progress, shop interactions, and purchase outcomes. Events may include your game level, broad coin range, app-instance identifier, and device or app information. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash diagnostics, including stack traces, app state, and device and operating-system information. We use this information to improve the game and fix errors. The Analytics setting is on by default; turning it off in Broadside settings disables future Analytics and Crashlytics collection through that setting.
Broadside: advertising
Broadside uses Google AdMob for full-screen and optional rewarded ads. Google and advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad interactions, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, and protect ads. Ads may be personalized depending on your region and choices. Broadside presents Google's consent form where required and offers Ad Privacy Choices in settings when required. iOS may ask whether to allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites; you can change that choice in iOS Settings. Declining tracking does not remove all ads. The No Ads purchase removes full-screen ads, while optional rewarded ads remain available.
Broadside: purchases
Apple processes in-app purchases through the App Store. Broadside receives purchase status and product identifiers to provide or restore items; we do not receive payment card details. Apple also provides iCloud under its own privacy terms.
Sharing, security, and your choices
Apple and Google process information for the services above. We do not sell support emails. We use reasonable safeguards, although no storage or transmission method is completely secure. You can change Broadside's analytics, ad privacy, and iOS tracking choices as described above. Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control by emailing support@saltwatergames.app. We may need to verify your request.
Children
Broadside is a general-audience game and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review it and delete it as appropriate.
